There is a line of thunderstorms - the leading edge of a cool front - somewhere between here and Austin and headed our way. That is supposed to be the last rain here for a while.
Meanwhile, local news channels continue to offer almost continuous coverage of flooding all day long. Channel 11 has not shown national news all week.
I do understand their priorities, and yes, there are thousands of folks suffering various degrees of loss, from total devastation to minor inconvenience, but I am ready to hear about something - anything - else.
