Rain and Such

In the middle of what was touted as being a major rain event, and so far, so good. 

Here at the Boggy Thicket, we had only a trace of rain in the first 24 hours or so while areas near Shreveport got a foot of precipitation.  Last night, we got about two inches – ditches are full and the yard is standing in water, but nothing to write home about.

A reporter for a Dallas area TV station was reporting on a possible tornado near Malakoff, Texas, when she saw this, and it stopped her in her tracks.

I guess you gotta grab your humor wherever you can find it.
