Owls

There is an old superstition that says that if you hear an owl in daylight it means someone is going to die.  
If there was any truth to that, the old Boggy Thicket would be hip deep in cadavers.
We have several owls who live here, and they are not shy about sharing their opinions at any  time of day or night.  They are just as likely to get together and gossip mid afternoon as they are at midnight.
