I have a birthday coming up in a few weeks, and the other day, I got a reminder in the mail saying this year it is time to renew my Texas Driver's License. I have now had a Texas Driver's License for over 60 years. I took the written exam and the driving test on my 14th birthday.
The letter gave me two options - I could:
- Drive 23 miles to the nearest office
- Search for a parking space
- Stand in line for an hour
- Fill out the forms
- Pay $24 to get a new license
- Fill out the form on line
- Pay an extra dollar
- Get my new license in the mail
How can I possibly be expected to choose?
