I almost posted something making fun of Elizabeth Warren and her claim to being "part" Indian. Then I realized that anything I said could also be applied to me!
I grew up believing that my maternal grandmother was 1/2 Indian - probably Choctaw - Don't just skip over this - actually click here ,
and it gets even more complicated. My nephew, the only member of the family to do any serious genealogy research, found no official records listing her family as anything but white.
