That isn't Santa on your roof.
It's Krampus, an old-world Germanic figure who comes each December to punish bad little girls and boys. He carries a bundle of birch switches to spank the little stinkers, and he hauls the particularly bad ones off to the underworld.
Considering the way things are going this year, he may have to recruit a lot of help.
