Today is the first day of winter.
Here at the Boggy Thicket the day dawned with overcast skies and a temperature of 67.
The forecast calls for a 50% chance of rain, and a high in the upper 70s.
I was able to get the garbage can out to the street between showers, and the only other thing on the agenda is wrapping a few Christmas presents.
It's shaping up to be a good day.
