Today’s featured recipe from Food and Wine.com is Spring Peas with Fresh Mint. The concoction also contains red onion, vinegar and olive oil.
I can’t imagine a less appetizing way to serve green peas; even the picture looks disgusting - but it did remind me of a poem I learned years ago:
I eat my peas with honey
I’ve done it all my life
It makes them taste quite funny
But it keeps ‘em on my knife
