I was sitting at our pergola slapping mosquitos this morning when a thought occurred to me. With less than 93 people per square mile in the US - a lot less in some places, a few more in others - the chances of a mosquito finding someone to bite are really infinitesimal.
What do the little vampires eat when they can't find somebody to bite?
