Highway 12

I'm pretty sure I've told this story before, but a search of my website didn't bring it up, so...
Several years ago, we were driving down Highway 12 - somewhere between Vidor and Deweyville - when we passed a roadside stand.  They were selling fresh vegetables and mayhaw jelly, but they had a couple of tables with other stuff for sale, too.
Honey mentioned that they had a lot of "ugly little butt faces" for sale.
I did a double take, and said "Those Cabbage Patch dolls are really ugly, but I wouldn't call them butt faces."

She looked at me like I'd lost my mind, and replied "I said BUD VASES!"
We laughed about that all the way to De Ridder, and probably a hundred times since.
